We look forward to the increasing engagement of our over 2000 Canadian alumni in the continued evolution of CityU in Canada. With the leadership of Suzana Dujmic an initial CityU Canada Alumni chapter has been forming. Vancouver alumni held a meeting in conjunction with the 2013 Graduation Celebration.

CityU Library

CityU Library is committed to helping alumni connect with resources that will help them meet their professional needs. While all university libraries would like to provide alumni with continued access to online databases, vendor licenses restrict access only to currently-enrolled students. CityU Library regularly investigates alumni collections, but these investigations reveal most are stripped of pertinent full-text resources.

The good news is that public libraries have some of the same databases our graduates use, and patrons can remotely access them with a card number and PIN. Public libraries often include interlibrary loan services, so it is recommended that CityU alumni contact local libraries to find out which services are provided. Also, public university libraries typically allow onsite access to a variety of academic databases, though there may be a fee for community cards at some universities.[/expand]
