Sustainability Series talks – May 30: Emily Briggs, Bullfrog Power & Adrien Archibald, Ethical Bean Coffee + June 20: Adrienne Uy,

We’re thrilled to be launching a series of talks on ethics and sustainability in business. Never before in our time of history have these been more important, and CityU is at the forefront with the Bachelor of Management (BAM) undergrad degree completion program, focused on socially and environmentally responsible management. We see the BAM program as an extension of our values and community approach already ingrained in our successful Master of Education and Master of Counselling programs.

On May 30 Emily Briggs, Marketing Strategist, Western Canada, Bullfrog Power, will co-present with Adrien Archibald, Marketing Manager, Ethical Bean Coffee. They will address the topic of sustainability communications, the value of third party certifications, and the B Corp assessment, with a focus on the environmental category. Both Bullfrog Power  and Ethical Bean are B Corp certified, meaning they have met rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

On June 20, Adrienne Uy, COO/CFO, will speak about sustainable produce and urban delivery, and the values of sustainability as a strategic pillar in the companies competitive advantage.
