Associate Faculty
As Adjunct Faculty in the Masters of Counselling program, I work on delivering course material for both in person and mixed mode courses. I have been working for City University since 2018. My background is in providing counselling services to children, youth, families and individuals for a variety of presenting concerns. I have worked within the Criminal Justice System in a variety of capacities, and have provided ongoing training to RCMP, School Administration and Mental Health providers on Violence Threat Risk Assessment and the Youth Criminal Justice Act. I managed an alternative measure program for young people, which included counselling and restorative justice. I am also a Child Specialist and Divorce/Co-Parenting Coach with Collaborative Divorce BC and a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP).

Teaching
My teaching philosophy is to focus on experiential learning and to work and learn collaboratively with students. I do my best to integrate a variety of tools and to meet the specific hopes and needs of the students in each class.
