Mareel Counseling- Counsellor Associates

We are looking for a counsellor who is:

  • An RCC or RSW 
  • Knowledgeable about sexuality 
  • Uses a pleasure centred, non-pathologizing framework
  • Interested or experienced in doing relationship counselling
  • Open minded and social justice oriented 
  • Curious 
  • An ongoing learner

What we offer:

  • Independent contractor model
  • Very fair rates – a monthly percentage with a maximum amount after which you keep all of your earnings
  • Flexible hours- whatever works for you, keeping in mind that there is a higher demand for evenings and weekends if you want to grow your client base more quickly
  • Monthly supervision meetings 
  • Available for case consultations and questions whenever needed

Child and Family Counsellor

Cameray Child and Family Services is a community-based agency committed to the strengthening of individuals and families through a spectrum of services including counselling, education, outreach, and advocacy. Cameray Child and Family Services has provided specialized counselling services to children, youth, and families in Burnaby and New Wesminster since 1972. All of our services are offered free of charge.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate counsellor to join our team at 27 hours a week for a permanent position. The position is under a collective agreement, with a starting wage of 41.78/hr.
