Sessional Instructor

I am a generalist clinician and conduct individual counselling, couples/partner counselling, and family therapy. I have a Certificate in Group Psychotherapy and Organizational Psychology. I am bilingual in French and English and a Registered Francophone Service Provider with the Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN). Additionally, I hold a 3-year post graduate certificate from Seneca/York University in “Working with the Abused Program” and am a Registered Service Provider for The Victim’s Quick Response Program (VQRP) and the Victim’s Witness Assistant Program (VWAP)with the Ministry of the Attorney General. As a psychometrist I perform mental health assessments.  Also, I am a facilitator with the Toronto Bail Program conducting Anger Management Group Therapy for adolescents on probation or parole. I worked as a Front-Line crisis intervention counselor at The Yellow Brick House and The Red Door shelters for women and children. I am a registered provider for Employee Family Assistance Programs (EFAP), Workplace Support Programs (WSP), Relapse Prevention Programs (SRPP), and Anger Management Programs. 


I am on the Advisory Committee for the Eisner Institute for Professional Studies in Encino California, and provide input on the Institution’s mission, objectives, goals, programs, curriculum, trends in the field, and recommendations for the improvement and delivery of education including for the purpose of the accreditation application.


I have been a member of Military Psychology, (Division 19 of the American Psychological Association (APA) for 20 years. I am published author with the International Journal of Behavioral Consultation and Therapy (2015) Vol. 9, No. 4 on Mindfulness-Based Interventions for Military Veterans with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).


I am a member of the Ontario Social Service Worker Association (OSSWA), the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), the Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW), qualifying at the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a long-time member of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (APA – Division 2). I taught in both elementary school and high school in Quebec. I have been a sessional instructor with York University, University of Toronto, City University of Seattle, and First Nations University.
