Phyllis MacIntyre

Dr. Phyllis MacIntyre is an Associate Faculty member for the Bachelor of Arts in Management. She obtained her Ed.D. from the University of Phoenix in Arizona, her MBA from the University of British Columbia, and her Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She also has a graduate certificate in executive coaching from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia.

Dr. Phyllis has 17 years of experience teaching business administration in universities throughout the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. She develops curriculum and designs courses for undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs, working in the classroom and for blended learning modes. Her doctorate was in instructional design for post-secondary education, and she enjoys the challenge of engaging students in all modes of learning.   

She designs and facilitates programs to develop leaders at all company levels in her business.  She specializes in assessments that identify relevant competencies for management and leadership growth. She has extensive experience working in corporations and management consulting services for strategic and business planning and human resource management. Her research interests include teaching and learning in STEM; she has published papers on leadership development for professional engineers, executive coaching, and international students.
