Associate Faculty

I am a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta providing treatment for a variety of issues in private practice and at a non-profit organization. I earned my Masters degree at Athabasca University and have completed specialized training in play therapy, attachment, maternal mental health, grief and loss, and trauma.

I have taught at City University since 2022 and have taught; Professional Ethics and Law, Intro to Counselling Psychology Practice, Counselling Psychology Theory, and Psychology of Grief and Loss.

I sincerely value the unique knowledge and experiences that students bring to the program. I value collaboration and strive to make my classes as engaging as possible. I also value perspectives related to social justice, diversity, and systemic issues. I believe that self-reflection is integral to student’s success not only in the program but beyond as they transition to practicing therapists in the community.
