I have been teaching at City University in the MEd in School Counselling program since 2018. Currently, I also work in private practice and with a lower mainland school district helping to ensure schools are safe and welcoming places for children, youth, and families. In my private practice, my focus is on supporting children, youth, and families as well as individuals moving through transitions. I have been working alongside individuals, families, and communities for over 25 years in a variety of settings including not-for-profit community agencies, an alternative measures program, school districts, and my clinical counselling private practice.
Teaching
I believe in experiential and reflective learning for everyone, including myself. Learning is a shared practice and it is best done with curiosity and openness in a safe and compassionate environment where learners can be brave and vulnerable.
