Important Message related to COVID-19 and Tuition Payment Measures/Arrangements
Dear Community of CityU Learners,
The past weeks have been challenging as communities are trying to adjust to the realities of COVID-19 and its impact. Our CityU family is actively monitoring the situation and making decisions to safeguard the safety and well-being of our university community.
A hiccup occurred on March 12 during an upgrade to our vendor Touchnet, the portal platform providing integrated payment options to our students. Some students have unfortunately experienced some difficulties paying their tuition on the student portal. We really apologize for any inconvenience caused. Because of the technical issues, tuition will be due on April 20 (Including the first installment of a Payment Plan) for the spring term instead of March 20.
This is an unprecedented situation affecting us all as we are concerned, worried for our loved ones, our communities or ourselves. Please know that CityU is committed to continue offering services that support our students and ensure our long-term success. Please reach out to your CityU student success advisor if you questions or concerns.
I join my voice to others to encourage all of us to join the efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and thus ensure everyone’s wellbeing.
Be safe and be well.
Maika Tshimbalanga, Director of Enrolment and Student Success
