Jacqui Linder offers civilian trauma response protocol for those helping and supporting survivors of Fort McMurray fires

CityU Canada faculty member Jacqui Linder developed a webinar a few days ago discussing a civilian trauma response protocol for Fort McMurray. She summarizes it as the CASE method (comfort, assist, support & empower). The message is targeted at civilians who are doing their best to help and support those they care about, but are lacking any formal training in the psychology behind what survivors are experiencing. This video has been shared with over 10,000 folks on Facebook and the webinar has been watched 500+ times in the past 3 days. Just yesterday she did an interview for Global Television on the protocol. Please like and share with those who need this kind of knowledge and support. Thank you Jacqui for reaching out to support the Fort McMurray community in this way.
