“As the liaison librarian for Canadian programs, Carolyne supports student research and inquiries related to CityU coursework and lifelong learning. Students are encouraged to reach out to liaison librarians for any research needs through Ask a Librarian or individual research consultations.
Through collaboration and engagement with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and program directors, librarians ensure that students learn the critical skills needed to be successful. These skills include research, critical thinking, information literacy, APA, and knowledge of the research cycle. These skills are embedded in CityU Canada courses in order to scaffold them throughout entire programs. These embedded activities enable students to learn and enhance these skills to prepare them for their final projects but also to prepare them for the workplace.”
