Truth and Reconciliation Week at CityU: October 3rd to 6th

As we honour the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, a day dedicated to honouring Survivors of residential schools and their families, it is important that the commemoration and honouring of this day continues.

The journey of reconciliation is on-going and requires that as a community we commit to on-going learning and action. With this in mind, CityU will be holding Truth & Reconciliation week from October 3rd to 6th, 2023. During this week, the CityU community will be invited to learn more about Truth & Reconciliation and to participate in events that deepen understanding of the historic and on-going impact of colonization on Indigenous peoples and that create space for reflecting on reconciliation actions that support reconciliation, decolonization, and indigenization.

Please see below for information on the events being held as part of Truth and Reconciliation week at CityU. All of the CityU community are invited to participate.
