What we have learned from Ouimet Cordon Bleu: Managing with heart

We were very pleased to have Rob McKenzie and Patricia St-Aubin from Ouimet Cordon Bleu Foods in our Sustainability Lecture Series presented by the  Bachelor of Arts (BAM) degree program.

Some of the great points we take from their presentation:

  • its important to know and live your values,
  • working in a firm that does so, and honours people as unique and intrinsically valuable rather than a means to an end provides a sense of peace and contentment for employees
  • values can be implemented in a business in a systematic way and
  • profit and values based management support one another.

These are vital messages for people and companies to hear.
